Interactive Treasure Hunt Platform & Mobile Experience

Seven Paces came to us with a unique challenge: create a platform that could power large-scale, real-world treasure hunts—blending storytelling, exploration, and technology into a seamless user experience.

The goal was to design and develop a system that could guide participants through a series of physical locations using riddles, clues, and mobile interactions, while also giving the organizers full control over content, progression, and user engagement.

We built a custom web and mobile-friendly application that allows users to follow clues, unlock new steps via QR codes, and track their progress throughout the hunt. Each interaction was designed to feel intuitive and rewarding, keeping users engaged while minimizing friction in the experience.

On the backend, we developed a flexible content and hunt management system, enabling the Seven Paces team to easily create, modify, and launch new hunts without technical overhead. This included tools for managing locations, clue sequences, and real-time updates.

The result is a scalable, repeatable platform that transforms cities into interactive playgrounds—driving foot traffic to local businesses, creating memorable experiences for participants, and giving Seven Paces a powerful foundation to expand their events into new markets.
